Coach Keever is coming into his fourth year as the Nighthawk boys soccer head coach. Before joining Northfield High School, Keever served the 2014 season as the Boy’s Assistant Coach at Denver South High School, and also as an Academy Staff coach with the Colorado Rapids from 2013-2014. Prior to his time in Colorado he has spent time playing and coaching at a variety of levels, including time in the USL’s Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), PDL, NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, and NAIA collegiate levels.
In college, Keever was a Division I standout as an attacking midfielder and forward at Campbell University. While a player at Campbell University, he enjoyed success including one Conference Tournament Championship, two regular season championships (including 1 undefeated and untied conference record), and one NCAA Division I Tournament appearance. He was named pre-season all conference, and all-conference following his junior season, four years all-academic, dean’s list, and president’s honor roll.
In the spring of 2011, Keever assumed the role of head assistant at Milligan College, an NAIA program in Johnson City, TN. While there, the Buffalos went on to enjoy their first ever 9-0 season, an NAIA national ranking in the top 25, and an overall record of 13-5.
A native of Trinity, North Carolina, Keever has been in Colorado for over four years, and has quickly found it to be “home”. He has actively been involved in the community, and seeks to continue to see how the game can transform the lives of those it touches. He currently holds a USSF C License, a USSF Youth License, and the NSCAA National Diploma.
Please contact Coach Keever at email@example.com if you have any questions about the program.
