Coach Lowe was born in Denver and graduated from J.K. Mullen High School, where he earned 7 varsity letters in three sports. Highlights include an undefeated Centennial League championship as the starting quarterback, 5A state runner-up in boys basketball, state champion and state record holder (100m) in track and field and numerous all- league, state, and Colorado selections.
Lowe was later on the team (red shirt) at Fort Scott Community College, then attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. At UNC, he was an inaugural member of the university’s Varsity Letterman’s Club, earning five varsity letters in two sports (football and track and field) and was all-league three times and on the All Colorado Collegiate Team. He started 47 consecutive college games between the 2000 and 2003 football season before he had the opportunity as an un-drafted free agent with the then-St. Louis Rams of the NFL.

During his time at UNC,  Lowe received a B.A. in Human and Organizational Communication and an A.A. in Physical Education with an emphasis in coaching. He  is married to Chevy Lowe and they have one 4-year-old son.

Northfield High School Football Announcement:

2019 Flight School will be May 15-17. All incoming 9th graders attending NHS and planning on participating in football should attend all 3 days. Football cleats are needed.
