Welcome to Northfield Nighthawks Girls Basketball!

Brianna Hypolite is the Head Coach of Girls’ Basketball for the Northfield Nighthawks. Brianna is a graduate of Rice University in Houston, Texas, where she received a BA in History.

Post-graduation, Brianna was a professional athlete in Angola followed by Australia, where she led her basketball team to a top finish and earned the League MVP honor in the 2013 Waratah State League. After retiring from professional play, Brianna moved back to her home state of Texas, where she served as a cultural advisor to employees of Royal Dutch Shell and BP in the City of Houston and its surrounding areas. During this time, Brianna also worked as an athletic trainer for The Houston Rockets’ Youth Development Program, The National Basketball Academy-Houston (TNBA), where she coached and developed elite athletes of the Gulf Coast.

Brianna has spent the last academic year in DPS serving through AmeriCorps as a Math Fellow at Howell K-8. Brianna is the founder and program director of World Hoops Academy, an organization that helps student-athletes find scholarships and provides tutoring, training, and player development. She is currently pursuing her MBA and M.Ed at The University of Denver.
