I am approaching 10 years as an assistant principal at Northfield High School. Prior to to serving at Northfield, I was an English Language Development teacher for four years at Hill Campus of Arts and Sciences in DPS where I collaborated with WiDA conducting research on best practices for teaching our Multi Lingual Learners (MLLs). During this time, Hill became one of the top middle schools in the district for growth of our MLLs. For five years before, I taught ELD and 6th grade Language Arts at Northglenn Middle School in the Adams 12 Five Star School District. At Northfield, I oversee the Career & Technical Education departments, our MLL programs, and assist in in overall operations of the campus. I am a Central Park resident and look forward to continuing to serve in this community and expanding on our young but growing traditions brick-by-brick.
