Although I am a California native, I have happily called Colorado home for most of the last 20+ years. I earned a psychology degree from Williams College and then continued my education with a Master’s degree in English Literature from Cal State Sacramento and seven years of doctoral work in English at CU Boulder. I spent more than 10 years teaching writing and literature to college students, but I switched gears after the arrival of my two daughters. Volunteering at their schools gave way to communications work and a stint in journalism, working at the Front Porch in Central Park. I am so happy to be at Northfield High School. The faculty, staff, and students here contribute to an incredibly welcoming and inclusive culture, and I enjoy coming to work every day.
