Hi! I’m Ms. Green, and I’m excited to be a part the Northfield staff! I have taught high school English teacher since 2009. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Adolescent/Young Adult Education from Muskingum University in 2009. I graduated with a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Ohio Dominican University in 2012. I taught for four years in Ohio, three years in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and I moved to Denver in 2016 with my husband. Northfield’s IB program is what drew me to the school. Building critical thinking skills is essential for students to grow into compassionate and understanding adults. I’m a published author of two novels, a book of short plays, and I’m currently writing my third novel. I love nature, animals, reading, writing, and learning about others’ ways of life and thinking. I have an insatiable sense of wonder. My dog “Blue” is my lesson planning buddy. I look forward to working with you!
