Hello! My name is Matt Katein. I have more than 10 years of experience as a teacher. I was born and raised in Colorado, growing up in the northern part of the state. I received my Bachelor’s in History from Colorado State University and my Master’s from the University of Colorado Denver in Curriculum and Instruction. I did a brief stint in Seoul, South Korea, where I taught high school social studies at a private international school located in Gwangjin-gu. Being able to teach and build relationships with the kids is my favorite part of teaching. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing video games, being a big foodie, dabbling in fiction writing, and generally seeing and hanging out with friends.
