A native of Denver, Colo., I received my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Metropolitan State University and my Master’s Degree in Music Composition from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Since 2008, I have taught music in the United States, the Philippines, and Indonesia. As an educator, I strive to provide a safe, positive, nurturing, and welcoming environment for my students to learn. I seek out opportunities for collaborative learning and want my students to develop essential 21st Century skills. In addition to teaching, I am a music examiner for the International Baccalaureate Organization and a composer for Alfred Music Publishing.
