Northfield’s on-going celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month includes this week’s assembly showcasing student and staff talents, as well as inspiring words from proud Chicano Northfield staff members, Dean of Culture, Mr. Jorge Rosas, and Ms. Alma Salas de Rosas. Northfield Principal, Ms. Jessica Rodriguez Bracey, not only participated in a performance, she shared these words: “Diversity and differences are what make today, and each and every day a great day to be a Nighthawk.” Review assembly photos (📸credit: Kocher Imaging). Next week, Oct. 2-6, spirit days are planned (see themes below) to continue school festivities.
All are welcome to attend the community Hispanic Heritage Month celebration on Friday, Oct. 6, 5:30-8 p.m. The celebration will include light snacks for a minimal cost, music and dancing in the Cafetorium of Building 1.
