Class of 2024: Financial Aid Applications Now Open

Posted January 22, 2024

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA) are now open! Students must complete one of these applications to obtain federal, state, and/or institutional-based financial aid. For assistance with completion of either form, Northfield’s Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) Future Center is hosting a FAFSA/CASFA workshop on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 3-7 p.m. Students must sign up to attend an individual appointment with a trained DSF staff member/volunteer.

Determine which financial aid application is right for you

  • U.S. citizens/permanent residents/eligible non-citizens complete the FAFSA. Students with social security numbers can create a username and password to submit applications for aid eligibility.
  • Undocumented, DACA or those students who are ineligible for federal aid complete the CASFA. Students without a social security number can create a username and password to submit applications for aid eligibility.

Students who have already applied to a college or university and received acceptance and scholarship dollars, Northfield High School and DSF want to know! Submit these details via Maia Learning (Universities > Applying).

For questions about determining which financial aid application is right for you or the upcoming FAFSA/CASFA workshop, contact Northfield’s DSF Advisor, Mr. Zach Montez. Review the Class of 2024 Senior Timeline for other upcoming Class of 2024 deadlines and events.
