HOSA State Leadership Conference Recap

Congratulations to all Northfield HOSA students who attended the State Leadership Conference earlier this week at the Sheridan Hotel downtown. Our Northfield HOSA chapter had 73 students in attendance and competed in more than 30 events. Students also attended symposiums with medical professionals from various healthcare fields, participated in activities such as suture clinics, and much more. Students who received medals include:
- 3rd place Anatamatoge – Keegan Kline-Oliver (10), Ellie Richardson (11), and Ocean Pierce (11)
- 3rd place Sports Medicine – Ocean Pierce (11)
- 2nd place Human Growth and Development – Blessing Samuels (12)
- 1st place Medical Innovation – Annelise Bell (12), Liam Jarvis (12), and Alice Kunde (12)
- 1st place Pathophysiology – Grace Oltersdorf (12)

Nearly 1,700 students from 55 different schools attended the event. HOSA’s mission is to empower future health professionals to become leaders in the global health community, through education, collaboration and experience.
