Northfield’s DECA chapter sent 18 national qualifiers to DECA’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC) last week. More than 23,000 high school students from around the country competed in events related to marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, hospitality and business administration. Junior Parker Bazaz and Sophomore Ari Bekelman made it to the final round at ICDC. Parker was in the Top 20 of his personal finance event and Ari was 7th in his accounting event. It was a great year for Northfield DECA and we look forward to taking even more qualifiers next year!
