The Northfield Men’s Swim & Dive team completed a historic season this past weekend at the State Championships, finishing a team record high of 6th place! The Nighthawks Medley Relay of Luke Hanisch (11), Ryan Schnur (11), Sawyer Wesoky (9) and Ryan Dawson (11) finished a team best 2nd. Ryan Schnur also placed 2nd in the 100 Breast. Freshman Carter Bachman (9) placed 6th in Diving. The Nighthawks sent a team record 17 athletes to state, with a record six divers!
The Nighthawks finished the year breaking 5 of 12 team records. Congrats to Hudson Perkins (200 Free and 500 Free), Ryan Schnur (200 IM and 100 Breast) and Carter Bachman (Diving). Ryan also set the DPS record in the 100 Breast this season.
Lots of fast swimming and great diving this year. Next year will be even better. GO NIGHTHAWKS!
