Posted June 22, 2024

Northfield High School is honored to introduce the school’s new head baseball coach, David Miller.

Coach Miller joined the team as an assistant coach during the 2015-16 school year, and most recently served as the head JV coach. In addition to coaching at Northfield, Coach Miller is currently the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) Teacher at Swigert International School in Central Park.

Coach Miller believes in building players with strong character traits, such as perseverance, a dedication to excellence, and humility, along with helping them become the best versions of themselves on and off the field.

His family consists of his wife, Rachel, also a teacher in DPS; his daughter, Evelyn; and his super-mutt rescue dog, Duke.

Coach Miller looks forward to making continued progress with the Nighthawk Baseball program, and knows that we have a future with many championships ahead of us.
