Homecoming Week is full of school spirit and excitement. We appreciate the efforts of Northfield students, staff, and community members in making the 2024 Homecoming Week a memorable one. Events conclude with the homecoming dance on Saturday, Sept. 21, 7-10 p.m., at Northfield High School. Tickets are $15/ea and are available via MySchoolBucks. Ticket sales end today at 4 p.m.; they cannot be purchased at the door. Due to limited capacity and a high emphasis placed on safety protocols, non-Northfield guests are not permitted to attend the dance. Students must present their Northfield ID at the door.
For those attending this evening’s HoCo football game against the Pueblo East Eagles at 6 p.m., at the Evie Dennis Stadium, please review the information below. Tickets for the game are sold out. Tickets are not available for purchase at the gate. A live stream of the game is available for purchase Hudl Fan.
Ticketing
Upon arrival at the stadium, spectators must present their electronic ticket. Northfield students will also need to present their student ID to enter. Please allow Denver Public Schools (DPS) staff to redeem your electronic ticket at the gate. Should you redeem your ticket prior to the event, you will be redirected to stand in another line for review of ticket purchase details.
Parking
Evie Dennis has limited parking; carpooling is highly recommended. Parking can be found on the west side of the stadium. The parking lot opens at 4 p.m. The stadium is property of DPS and tailgating in the parking lot is not permitted.
Stadium Details
The game begins at 6 p.m. Stadium gates will open at 5 p.m. All spectators must arrive prior to the start of the third quarter or risk denied entry. Tickets are non-refundable.
Metal detectors will be active at the stadium entrance and all bags are subject to search. Permissible bags include those listed below. Exceptions will be made for all medically necessary items after proper inspection. Please note, noisemakers are not permitted and may be confiscated.
– Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or 30.5 x 15.25 x 30.5 cm, such as clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags.
– Small, non-clear bags that do not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″ in size, with or without a handle or strap.
Northfield spectators will sit on the west side of the stadium, and Pueblo East spectators on the east side; spectators are restricted to these designated areas.
Unlawful use, possession, distribution or sale of drugs and other controlled substances, alcohol and other illegal contraband on school district property, at school sponsored functions or within 1,000 feet of the perimeter of the school grounds is not permitted. Persons known to be under the influence of liquor or a controlled substance shall not be permitted to enter the school grounds. Students suspected of being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol, will have parents/guardians called immediately for pick up. Disciplinary action will follow DPS policies. Spectators are asked to exit the stadium promptly following the game.
DPS and Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) membership promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your support in helping to create a positive environment that is safe and welcoming. Profanity, derogatory comments, and other intimidating actions directed at athletes, officials, team representatives, and/or other spectators, is not tolerated and are grounds for removal.
