College Board testing will be here before we know it. The number of credits a student currently has indicates which day they will complete testing. Students in grade 9 will complete the Preliminary SAT (PSAT-9) on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and grades 10 and 11 will complete the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) on Thursday, Oct. 17. Students should arrive at school no later than 8:25 a.m. with Chromebooks fully charged and chargers (just in case). Testing will finish at 12 p.m., unless students qualify for testing accommodations. There are no classes for grades 10-12 on 10/16, and no classes for grades 9 and 12 on 10/17. Testing room locations will be posted to the Northfield website on Wednesday, Oct. 9, as well as posted in the Building 5 Lobby on test day. To help your student prepare for these upcoming tests, review the College Board website. To opt your student out of College Board testing, please do so via the DPS Student/Parent Portal (view instructions: English / Spanish).
