Please join us on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and Wednesday, Oct. 9, 5-8 p.m., for by-appointment family conferences. Each conference is allotted 10 minutes. If you require additional time with a teacher, please make plans for a follow up conversation.
Translation is available. Tuesday conferences will take place at Northfield and are available on a first come, first serve basis; please review the list of conference locations. Signup sheets are available outside of designated classrooms. Conferences on Wednesday are virtual via Google Meet; review the sign up sheet and reserve your preferred time slot. For either option, families can review their student’s schedule via the DPS Parent Portal, to know which teacher(s) to meet with. Conferences are entirely optional, but are an ideal opportunity to meet one-on-one with your student’s teachers to discuss academic matters, behavior and social development.
For in-person conferences, families are asked to plan ahead as parking on campus is extremely limited. Parking is available in the student parking lots on the north side of campus. Please do not park in the south lot or in spots reserved for Northfield staff, DPS officials and Denver Parks & Rec. If the student lots are full, parking on neighborhood streets is always an option. Please do not block alleyways and driveways. Childcare is available and food trucks will be on campus with dinner options. For questions, please email nhscommunications@dpsk12.net.
