College Board testing is now a reality. On Wednesday, Oct. 16, Nighthawks in grade 9 will complete the Preliminary SAT (PSAT-9). On Thursday, Oct. 17, grades 10 and 11 complete the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT). Review the schedule. There are no regular classes on these days. Unless scheduled to test, students do not come to school. The number of credits a student currently has indicates which day they will complete testing.
Students in grades 9-11 should review their testing room location, so they know where to go on their assigned test day. Testing room locations will be posted in the lobbies of Building 5 and 2, on test days.
Students should arrive at school no later than 8:25 a.m. on their assigned day with Chromebooks fully charged and chargers just in case. Testing will finish around 12:10 p.m., unless students qualify for testing accommodations.
To help your student(s) prepare for these upcoming tests, review the College Board website.
