Tri-M is the only music honor society for high school students in the U.S. To become a member, students must: Be enrolled in a school-sponsored music ensemble and/or class for at least one semester of the current school year; maintain an A average grade or equivalent in music, with at least a B average grade or equivalent in other academic subjects; be involved in school activities, leadership and service opportunities; and demonstrate admirable character traits. Participating Nighthawks will participate in an induction ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m., the cafeteria.
