DSF Financial Aid Workshop for Seniors

Posted January 14, 2025

Sign up to attend the Financial Aid Workshop on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 3–7 p.m., in Building 5 Room 119. Northfield’s Denver Scholarship Foundation advisers will help attendees to complete the application and discuss next steps. Applications look different this year than in previous years, so even if you have completed it in the past you may benefit from the workshop. Again, it is very important that this application is completed promptly and correctly.

You can prepare for the workshop by creating a login! For students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, the FAFSA is the application needed to apply for financial aid. Students who are undocumented must complete the CASFA application.

For students completing the FAFSA, families need to create a StudentAid.gov account, which consists of a username and password. This was previously known as an FSA ID, so if you already have one you do not need to create another. Every family and student needs an account and it must be created at least three days prior to starting the FAFSA application. Families completing CASFA, can create a student login.

Please contact DSF Future Center Advisor, Mr. Zack Montez, if you have further questions.
