The Nighthawks are once again Denver City League Champions! Northfield soundly defeated the rest of the field by almost a 100 point margin last weekend. Six League Champions will contribute to the First Team All League 2024. Congrats to Luke Hanisch (11) – 200 Medley Relay, 100 Back, 400 Free Relay; Ryan Schnur (11) – 200 Medley Relay & 100 Breast; Sawyer Wesoky (9) – 200 Medley Relay); Ryan Dawson (11) – 200 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay; Hudson Perkins (11) 200 Free, 400 Free Relay; Carter Bachman (9) – Diving and Lawson Rotter (11) – 400 Free Relay. The team set two team records and 10 class records at the meet! Lastly, a special congrats to Senior Captain Frederik Raaberg for being recognized by the DPS coaches with the Jim Hartman Award. This award recognizes those who are the most impactful senior for the season. Frederik is an integral member of the Nighthawk Swim & Dive team and will be greatly missed!
The Nighthawks ended the season at the State with a historic 17 swimmers and divers in every possible event. Another history setting performance by the team! GO NIGHTHAWKS!
