The Boettcher Foundation has a tradition of recognizing outstanding teachers as well as students. Each student who receives the Boettcher Scholarship is given the opportunity to honor a teacher who contributed significantly to their success. Northfield Senior and Boettcher Scholar, Sammy Berman, selected Mr. Joey Bender. This award recognizes the significant role Mr. Bender played in shaping Sammy’s educational experience and development. The honor includes a tribute from Sammy and a $500 grant to be used at Mr. Bender’s direction for an educational project, activity, professional development, or piece of equipment he believes will benefit Northfield and its students. Additionally, The Boettcher Foundation will send a $100 grant to Sammy’s Northfield Counselor, Mr. Nick Kresse-Bond. 📸Kocher Imaging
