It’s never too early to start planning for next school year! Class of 2028 Freshmen and all “New to Northfield” transfer students in grades 10-12 begin classes on Monday, Aug. 19, at 9:30 a.m., with a Stripe Day (all eight classes). Students in grades 10-12 begin on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Tuesday, Aug. 20 is a Gold/Odd Day and Wednesday, Aug. 21 is a Navy/Even Day, for all students.
Unless otherwise noted, Mondays are Stripe Days with classes beginning at 9:30 a.m.; classes Tuesday-Friday follow a block schedule with classes beginning at 8:25 a.m. The last thirty minutes of each day, rebranded as the “Final 30,” is a time for all students to finish assignments and assessments, complete test revisions, do make up work, get tutoring and/or attend a club meeting. Students are strongly encouraged to not leave school until the bell rings at 3:55 p.m. Nighthawk Athletics begin at 4:15 p.m. Review the complete 2024-25 school calendar and bell schedule.
