Seal of Biliteracy
The DPS Seal of Biliteracy is a prestigious award for graduating high school students who can read, speak, listen, and write at a high level in English and another language.
Earning the seal:
- Shows colleges and employers you are proficient in more than one language.
- Appears on your official transcript and diploma.
- Includes an honorary cord to wear at graduation.
Once you register for the Seal, school counselors will guide you in meeting the qualifying marks for English and your World Language. Be sure to review the Seal of Biliteracy Requirements.

- Students interested in the Seal must submit an application and follow the outlined steps for candidacy.
