All Nighthawks who park in the far parking lot near the athletic fields MUST now have a black Northfield parking permit displayed from their rearview mirror while parked in the lot. Monitoring of this new policy begins Tuesday, Oct. 1. Students are asked to sign up for a parking permit and then visit Ms. Slater in the Main Office to collect their permit. First offense without a permit means a green sticker or paper warning; next time, a student’s car could be towed.
Students who park in the neighborhood should also have a black Northfield parking permit displayed from their rearview mirror, so Northfield staff can easily identify who the car belongs to to help students avoid a ticket or towing by Denver PD, when parked illegally. Students are not allowed to park in the staff parking lot, reserved spots on campus or at the Shops at Beeler parking lot north of campus. Northfield High School is in no way responsible for ticketing or towing.
