A Note from the Nest (Sept. 27 edition)

Posted October 1, 2024

Dear Nighthawk Community,

My name is Morgan Babbel. I am one of the math senior team leads at Northfield High School and a proud Nighthawk. As we move into this school year, I want to highlight the importance of our upcoming parent-teacher conferences. These meetings are essential for fostering collaboration, communication, and connection between home and school to benefit our students, families, and educators, alike. These conferences allow us to discuss your child’s progress, strengths, and areas for growth in a focused setting. Your insights about your child are invaluable, providing teachers with a deeper understanding of a student’s unique needs, interests, and challenges. When we work together, we create a holistic approach to your child’s education that can significantly enhance their learning experience.

Please mark your calendars for drop-in conferences on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Northfield, and virtual conferences on Wednesday, Oct. 9 (by appointment only; sign up sheet available on Thursday, Oct. 3). Northfield teachers and staff look forward to meeting with you to discuss how we can work together to support your child’s success. Thank you for being an integral part of our school community!
