A Note from the Nest (Jan. 10 edition)

Posted January 13, 2025

Welcome back to a snowy start of second semester. I am Calarri Cox, Northfield assistant principal who oversees instruction and scheduling; plus, students with alpha last names “Ho”-“Men” in grades 10-12. I hope that each of you is well rested and ready for the weeks and months ahead of us. There is a lot to look forward to, with a fresh start in classes and course selection in February for the 25/26 school year.

Currently, we are working to finalize our 25/26 course offerings. Once finished, current Nighthawks will make selections according to DPS graduation requirements. As in years past, we are deeply committed to offering a wide range of courses to allow students to pursue their passions and to prepare them for their post-secondary life.

Other exciting events this semester include a freshmen/sophomore dance, pep rallies, music and performing arts showcases, Wish Week, junior/senior prom, Senior Week, and of course, the celebration of the Northfield High School Class of 2025 on Friday, May 30. Follow along with us as we continue a school year filled with academic growth and success, Nighthawk pride and so much more!
