Sophie Brown (11) was selected as one of the top three Denver Center for Performing Arts (DCPA) 2023/24 Middle School and High School Playwriting Competition winners for her play, The Adults are Talking. Brown’s play, about a multi-generational gathering after the loss of a loved one, will be featured at a professional reading on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 25 at 9:30 a.m., during the 2024 Colorado New Play Summit. DCPA received more than 100 high school play submissions from across Colorado. Congratulations Sophie!
