Meet Coach Linda Till

The 2024-25 school year marks Northfield High School Coach Linda Till’s second year as the head coach for the Nighthawk Men and Women’s Tennis teams. During her inaugural season with the Nighthawks, the men’s team clinched first place within DPS doubles No. 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Prior to coaching at Northfield, Till was the head tennis coach for the Colorado School of Mines Club Tennis team. Previously, she was the head instructor with Denver Parks & Recreation, where she participated in year-round clinic and session programming.

Till embarked upon her high school tennis coaching role in 2008 and lead her Mechanicsburg, Penn. team to win the District Team Championship 2 in 2008 and 2009, and Bronze Medal No. 1 Singles in the State of Pennsylvania Championship Matches in 2008. In 2013, she became the head coach for boys and girls tennis at Hershey High School in Pennsylvania, where the teams became district champs in 2014, and third place No. 1 Doubles in the Pennsylvania State Championships.

Till grew up in Denver, Penn. and is a Certified Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) Level 1 Coach. Holding this certification for 20 years, she is currently pursuing Level II PTR Tennis Instructor licensing. Upon completion, she will hold an International Tennis Federation Certificate (ITF) and Level II instructor status. A participating member of the U.S. Tennis Association since 2026, Till helps junior and adult tennis players in achieving technique and strategy for success and enjoyment of tennis and pickleball.
