Computer Science (On-Campus CTE Pathway)

Integrated within Northfield’s IB for All framework, our Computer Science CTE Pathway prepares students for technical careers in software development, engineering, and analytical problem-solving across all employment sectors. Through rigorous coursework, students build strong computational thinking skills and practical programming expertise, leaving fully prepared for university-level computer science and technical fields.

This on-campus pathway offers students the opportunity to earn Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) college-level credit, as well as honors credit, as they progress through the curriculum.

Learning is further enriched through our on-campus technology clubs and competition teams, where students apply their coding and engineering skills to real-world hardware and software challenges.

*Note: All courses qualify as weighted electives at the discretion and guidance of Denver Public Schools.
