Teaching has afforded me the opportunity to work in a variety of communities. Before teaching English at Northfield, I spent four years at Noel Community Art School; four years teaching in Columbus, Ohio; and four years teaching on the Navajo Reservation in Tuba City, Ariz. One of the best parts about teaching is that it provides professionals the opportunity to learn and grow their practice together for the benefit of the students. I received both my Bachelor’s in English and my Master’s in Language Education from Indiana University.
