I enjoy working with our students and helping them to realize and reach their potential in IB Language and Literature and in all of their endeavors. I am from a central Massachusetts. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in English Education with a minor in Health, Physical Education and Coaching from Boston University. While at BU I lived and studied in Auckland, New Zealand, for six months and completed my student teaching practicum in Sydney, Australia. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy doing anything outside, especially camping and hiking. In August 2015, I completed a National Outdoor Leadership School backpacking course in the Absaroka Mountains of Wyoming, during which I became certified as a Wilderness First Responder (and re-certified in the summer of 2018). I also train and compete locally and nationally in the martial art of Judo.
