Northfield’s Collaborative School Committee (CSC) is a vital part of our school community, responsible for advising on key decisions, allocating resources, and fostering collaboration among parents, teachers, and administrators. Serving on the CSC provides members with a platform to actively contribute to the educational experience at Northfield High School.
The CSC includes parent/guardian representatives, students, teachers, staff, and community members.

Each Denver High School has a Collaborative School Committee (CSC) with representation from parents, students, community, faculty, administrators, and classified staff. The CSC provides strategic direction in support of the school’s mission and vision as stated in the Unified Improvement Plan (UIP).
The CSC’s range of responsibilities includes:
*Developing and aligning resources and strategies to support the academic success of every Nighthawk.
*Providing guidance, evaluation and approval for the Unified Improvement Plan (UIP).
*Providing guidance, evaluation and approval for the use of the school budget and school program design.
*Attending quarterly CSC meetings with no more than XX consecutive unexcused meeting absences during the school year.
Candidate Process:
The Collaborative School Committee (CSC) has the following vacancies for the 2025–26 school year:
Election forms will be sent out on Friday, September 5th and close at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19.

All meetings are open to the public. Public comment is reserved for the last 15 minutes of a CSC meeting. To schedule public comment, please complete the sign-up form at least five days prior to the next scheduled meeting.
