Meet Coach Jason Keever
The 2024-25 school year marks Northfield High School Coach Jason Keever’s tenth year leading the Nighthawk Men’s Soccer team. Since founding the program in 2015, Keever has spearheaded program growth with an cumulative record of 57-21-1, two Denver Prep League Conference Championships, and two CHSAA 4A State Champions – the first in 2021 and a repeat title in 2022. Among Coach Keever’s personal recognitions are those of CHSAA 4A State Coach of the Year, Denver Public Schools Coach of the Year, and the United Soccer Coaches Small Public School (2A, 3A, 4A) Colorado State Coach of the Year.
Before joining Northfield High School, Keever served as the Head Assistant at Milligan College, an NAIA program in Johnson City, Tenn.; Boy’s Assistant Coach at Denver South High School during the 2014 season and as an Academy Staff Coach with the Colorado Rapids from 2013-2014. Prior to his time in Colorado, he played and coached soccer at a variety of levels, including Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), Premier Development League, NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, and NAIA collegiate levels.
A native of Trinity, NC, Keever relocated to Colorado in 2013. He is involved within the community and enjoys watching the game of soccer as it transforms the lives of those it touches. He currently holds his USSF C License, USSF Youth License, NSCAA National Diploma and Welsh FA Level II.
