IB Exam Period / End-of-Year Schedules
As we approach the IB exam period and the end of the school year, we want to ensure all students are informed about class schedules and final exam expectations. This will help maintain consistency and fairness for everyone. Please review the information below to avoid confusion regarding course end dates.
Key Dates & Expectations – Seniors
IB Diploma Seniors:
- Seniors completing the IB Diploma will finish all coursework by May 2.
Non-IB Exam\Diploma Seniors:
- Seniors not taking the IB exam for specific courses must attend class through May 12.
- Final exams for these students will take place on May 13-14.
Key Dates & Expectations Grades 9-11:
- Classes for grades 9-11 will continue through May 23.
- Final exams will be held during the week of May 27.
(Note: There are a few exceptions for mixed-grade IB classes, as detailed in the table below.)
Non-Senior IB Courses:
- All students must attend and actively participate until their designated course end date.
- Classes will continue as scheduled through the end of the school year, even during the IB exam period.
