All Northfield students are eligible to receive a complete breakfast and lunch for no cost. Students must bring money or have money in their MySchoolBucks account to purchase second entrees and/or a la carte items. Breakfast is available beginning at 7:45 a.m. Lunch is served from 11:27 a.m. to 12:07 p.m. on Stripe Days, and from 11:33 a.m. to 12:14 p.m. on Gold and Navy days, in the Cafeteria located in Building 1. Review the lunch menu.
Northfield has one lunch period. Students in grades 11-12 may participate in off-campus lunch and/or leave campus during off periods; however, they must return and be on time for academic classes. Students in grades 9 and 10 are strongly encouraged to stay on campus for lunch. Being late to class following lunch will result in consequences per the NHS/DPS matrix just as any other period. Tardiness due to waiting for food at food trucks, off-campus eateries, food delivery, etc. will not excuse a tardy. Seating is available in the Cafeteria and the Great Hall of Building 3 for students who stay on campus. Food trucks require payment by students.
