I am excited to be joining Northfield this year as a computer science teacher! I grew up in Florida, where I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering at the University of Florida. Thirsting for a way to pursue my passions for math, science, and helping others, I promptly moved to Denver, where I became math teacher at an alternative high school. During my ten-year tenure, I further fueled my passions by honing my coding skills and earning a Master’s in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Next, I spent five years teaching computer science in Montbello, and I now have the pleasure of joining the Nighthawks!

I am Venezuelan American, and the proud father of two boys. We enjoy going to the park, the library, reading, and playing games together. I’m an avid environmentalist and bike just about everywhere! In my free time I enjoy outdoor (mis)adventures, and am particularly fond of the deserts of the Colorado Plateau. I also enjoy reading, board games, video games, escape rooms, and world travel. It’s great to be here!
