Hi I am Natalie Updegrove and I teach English here at Northfield . I’ve been teaching for three years and have been lucky enough that all three of them have been here at this awesome school and community.
Prior to moving out to colorful Colorado, I grew up in Michigan where I spent the first 24 years of my life. I attended the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) where I graduated with a BA in English and communication studies. After that my now husband and I eventually moved out to Colorado where we have been living, hiking, and camping ever since. I went back and earned my master’s at the University of Colorado – Boulder after Covid convinced me that I wanted to drop everything and become a teacher. In my off time I love gardening, reading, thrifting, and hanging out with friends and my cat!
