Students Receive Retired Employees’ Scholarship Foundation

Posted April 15, 2024

Class of 2024 Nighthawks, Ava Vasquez (pictured) and Quinlan Tettero, each received a $10,000 scholarship from the Denver Public Schools Retired Employees’ Scholarship Foundation for the 2024-2025 school year. The foundation was created as the philanthropic organization of the DPS Retired Employees Association to implement the membership’s continuing interest in and willingness to assist worthy graduates of DPS. This is a highly unique program since it is fully funded through donations and endowments from retired employees of the district. Each recipient may apply for the scholarship to be renewed for each of the subsequent three years. Congratulations, Ava and Quinlan!
