AVID’s mission is to support students who are historically underrepresented at colleges and universities, as well as students who are the first in their family to attend college. The program is a whole-child support, which enables students to both attend and graduate from college in a degree program of their choosing. Northfield embodies AVID’s mission through a four-year program which prepares AVID students in collaboration with their IB courses to achieve their college and career goals.
