City Year, an education nonprofit, is partnering with Northfield this year to further student and school success. As part of this partnership, Northfield students are invited to take advantage of tutoring with City Year representatives following the completion of a permission form by a parent/guardian. Students can get help with their classwork, homework, projects and papers, as well as obtain support in reaching out to teachers about missing work. City Year Tutoring is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 4-5 p.m., in the Library. During these times, students can work independently or with a City Year coach, and do not have to stay for the duration. City Year coaches serve in 10th grade math classes throughout the school day, but can support in any subject.
