Coach Brad Howard

The 2025-26 school year marks a new chapter for Northfield High School Tennis with the appointment of Head Coach Brad Howard. Coach Howard joins the Nighthawks with a background in collegiate coaching at one of the nation’s premier academic and athletic institutions.

Coaching Experience & Background:

• Johns Hopkins University: Served as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs from 2007–2010.
• Championship Environment: During his four seasons at Johns Hopkins, the programs were consistent contenders in the Centennial Conference and made several appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
• The Scholar-Athlete Focus: Having coached at an institution renowned for its academic rigors, Coach Howard understands the importance of balancing competitive excellence with classroom success.

Coach Howard’s move to the high school level allows him to bring this collegiate perspective to Northfield, helping student-athletes develop the discipline and technical skills necessary for competitive match play.
