IB for All: Preparing Every Student for College and Beyond

Research shows that the IB approach—rigorous academics, critical thinking, and real-world learning—benefits all students, not just those pursuing the full Diploma Program (DP). Even students who take individual IB courses gain skills that prepare them for college and future success.

Enrollment and School Choice

Apply for SchoolChoice

Round 1

Open: Dec. 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM
Closes: Jan. 20, 2026 at 4:00 PM

We highly encourage families to apply during Round 1 for the best chance of being matched with your preferred school.

Submit Your Application

Create an account or, if you’re a parent of a current DPS student, use your Parent Portal username and password to log in to the SchoolChoice application. Families can submit one Choice application per student. For step-by-step instructions, review the DPS application guide.

Round 1 results will be released to families in late February 2026.

Enroll as a Boundary Student

Students who are in grades kindergarten through 12th who live at an address served by Denver Public Schools are guaranteed a seat at their boundary school or a school in their enrollment zone. Northfield High School enrollment is as a boundary school.
