Objective: Familiarize students with key locations on campus to make navigation easier.
Date:August 6–7 (Tentative), during Freshman Academy
Details:
Guided Tour: Led by student ambassadors or senior students to explore major areas of the school (classrooms, cafeteria, library, gym, counselor’s office, etc.).
Student map handout: Includes maps of the school with important landmarks highlighted.

Fresh Start Meetings: Building Your Support Network
Overview: In your first weeks at Northfield, you’ll have scheduled check-ins with key staff to help you get settled, feel supported, and plan for success.
Timeline & Details:
Weeks 1–3: Meet with Your Student Support Liaison (SSL) Learn how to earn volunteer hours, get involved in school activities, and find your way around the building.
Weeks 3–6: Meet with Your Counselor Talk about your academic goals, interests, and any concerns you have. Start building your long-term plan at Northfield.
Weeks 6–8: Meet with a Dean Get clarity on behavior expectations and attendance, and connect with a trusted adult who has your back.
