Bboy ChaseNo1ne – Soul Control/School of Breaking
Born Chase Evered, began dancing in 2003 at the age of 19, went from playing basketball as a collegiate athlete to a full-time career as a dancer, artist, entrepreneur and educator. Chase represents the legendary Soul Control crew out of California and is co-founder/co-owner of School of Breaking in Aurora, Colo.
An ambassador and ally for Hip-Hop Culture who has been instrumental in the development of local jams and supporting dance education throughout the state of Colorado. Chase is recognized as a 2020 U.S. Department of State, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Median International Center-Sponsored Next Level Hip Hop Cultural Ambassador. He comprises his business of locally, nationally, and internationally renowned performers, competitive dancers, and teaching artists. His school’s Competitive Breaking Program has members nationally ranked in the 2022 USA Dance Inc, World Dance Sports Federation Breaking Division. And for 10 years, School of Breaking has pioneered, innovated, exemplified and taught crucial life skills to thousands of students, in Aurora and beyond, while providing a much-needed service to its communities.
Mayor Mike Coffman and the City Council of Aurora have proclaimed Sept. 20, 2022 as School of Breaking Day. Chase has been a dedicated educator and dancer for 20 years.
