I grew up in Aurora, Colorado and attended CU-Denver where I received a bachelor’s degree of science in Biology. After working in the medical field for a few years, I decided to pursue my passion as an educator and serve our amazing Denver community. In 2016, I earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Urban Education from DU, and have been teaching consistently since. I love every part of teaching, especially getting to know students and families and inspiring future scientists! I have a background teaching STEM, MS Science and Project Based Learning and can’t wait to apply these experiences at Northfield High School. I am an open book and am happy to help in any way that I can. In my free time I love to cycle, mountain bike, climb and watercolor paint. I have two kids that I’m so proud of. My daughter will be going into high school next year and my son into middle school. Please reach out to me, I can’t wait to get to know you all!
