Hey Nighthawks! My name is Minh Smith, and I am super excited to be a part of the Northfield Math Department. I grew up in Arlington Virginia (roughly 15 minutes south of Washington, D.C.), and attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where I earned my bachelor’s of Arts and Science in Mathematics and Business. I moved to Colorado for university and it has been my home ever since. My teaching philosophy comes from the movie Ratatoui but instead of “Everyone can cook” it is; everyone can be successful in math given the right support. I love to make learning math fun and engaging. When I’m not at school, I love hiking/cliff jumping, doing arts and crafts, watching soccer or spending time with friends and family.
